Much of my research is the result of engaging and collaborating with international colleagues. I work with researchers in a diverse range of climatic zones from Temperate to Arctic regions. Many of these collaborations involve an element of fieldwork and I have been lucky enough to have visited some beautiful parts of the world including sub-Arctic Sweden and Greenland. 

 

My colleagues work in a range of disciplines including biogeochemistry, computer science, geoinformatics, plant ecology,  soil science, climate change, hydrology, peatlands, environmental systems modelling and carbon dynamics and fluxes in northern ecosystems.
