​This research project will being conducted at the Stordalen and other mire sites around Abisko in Northern Sweden.

The Abisko Research Station is one of the Sweden's key sub-arctic research stations.

​

It has been established for over 100 years and has extensive records on climate and vegetation change in the Abisko region.
